JDL started with a conversation between hockey friends.

Someone asked, “Stiggy, what are you up to?”

“JDL, baby.”

“What does that mean?”

“Just dominating life.”

It stuck because it felt confident and real, and because it made us laugh.

But it became something bigger: a way to create a good moment for someone else.
